A lock ring tool is used to remove and insert LThe locking ring found on the cassettes and/or sprockets found on electric bicycle motors. Compatible motors are first generation Bosch Classic Line, Bosch Classic+ motors with a lock ring outer diameter of 59.9mm. The engines must also be produced from 2010 to 2013/2014. If you are unsure about compatibility, please consult your bicycle's user manual. These motors are found on many types of bikes and this tool will work on all of them, be they road, racing, mountain, trekking or city bikes, as long as they contain compatible motor assemblies.
